Most are made of dust and earth. Since Adam raised from dirt, we are sons and daughters of dust and earth. The darkness that grips the night is tattered with lights, cutting through the cloak that grips the daylight. Not all children are born of clay or ice or stone. Some bring us the sun, to guide us home. Most are made of dust and earth. Some are dark, and dim and blind. Others are more, built from flame and promises. While some are made of dust and earth, others are made of stars. They may wink or fade, but burn brightest in the dark.

From steamy nights to frozen afternoons, consistency never crossed her own mind, but damn if performance wasn’t solid.
